Hi lovelies so as summer is creeping up upon us fairly swiftly and many of you may have some very exciting travel plans coming up I thought I'd tell you all about what I tend to pack in my carry on.
If there's one thing I hate about traveling it's the packing! I have to travel a lot for work and college so living out of a suitcase was inevitable. Packing carry on bags was also especially nerve wreaking incase I'd pack my favourite hair products that are over the 100ml limit and get confiscated or something like that. I'm sure everyone has been through this trauma!
So first I'd recommend bringing on a bag with plenty of room. I'd recommend a great tote like the Louis Vuitton neverfull which I use to death! Or a backpack or similar. All my favourites are below.

So I've based this post on a flight that's over 4 hours as I feel I need a lot more things on hand (though I don't end up using everything but it's better to be prepared in my opinion!)
So first off I need my phone and earphones and my chargers and an extra power pack! Penneys (or primark) do great ones for only €10! They come in such cute shapes too! I usually carry a few little pouches in my bag and fill them with my essentials.
I also always have a little bottle of hand sanitiser and a snack like a protein bar or some nuts.

In another pouch I keep any medication that I may need such as paracetamol. I find it's so handy to have a few different types of medication when on a long haul flight. I always seem to get really bad headaches the longer I'm on a plane, so for me it's a must have!
I also always have my planner and my note book. I either am working on a flight or I might get a brain wave for work or the blog and need to write it down. I also love making lists of goals or things I need to get done it just organises my mind and sets me in the right mindset for whatever the purpose is of my trip.

Now onto the beauty....
I keep all my beauty bits in a small clear pouch. I hate having to use those zip lock bags I find this option much better you can get these in boots or penneys or any pharmacy really.
I try to keep my beauty bits to a minimum but of course we all need those few things!
First off is my favourite lip balm which is by Kiehls. This is by far the best lip balm I've ever used and being in a plane is so drying on your lips and skin.

Next in my bag of travel essentials is Elizabeth Ardens 8 hour cream. This is definitely the best of the best for skin that has been moisture deprived from flying.

Now onto foundation. I don't like to wear heavy makeup flying as it just cakes and I hate that feeling of dryness on my skin. My current favourite for traveling is the new Dior cushion foundation. This foundation is quite light weight and buildable if needed. And the handy compact makes traveling so easy!

For concealer I absolutely love the Catrice liquid camouflage. This is an absolute gem and totally affordable too!

For bronzer I generally use Nars Laguna. It's so sliky and so handy that the compact comes with a mirror I even double up and use it as an eye shadow too!

For mascara I use Charlotte Tilbury legendary lashes and boy does it live up to its name! I have several little travel tubes and they're perfect for going here and there!

And finally for my lips I absolutely adore the Dior addict ultra gloss! They're so creamy and perfect for colour and moisture on a long flight!

Finally to freshen up my skin and makeup I carry a little spray bottle of rose water. It instantly makes me feel refreshed and the light smell is just heavenly. I don't use any particular brand. And I often decant it into a smaller bottle which is travel friendly and these can be bought in pharmacies anywhere.

So that's generally what I carry of course there's always more unnecessary things in my carry but as long as you don't forget your passport everything else is irrelevant!
I hope you all have a wonderful summer
I'd love to hear about your summer plans please let me know everyone!

Till next time
Love Victoria X
